On-Line Math Games and Activities
- Kahn Academy (https://www.khanacademy.org/) - Fantastic site that provides lessons and practice!
- Prodigy Game (https://www.prodigygame.com/) - Free to use and links to many of our curriculum outcomes!
- IXL (https://ca.ixl.com/) - Does cost for a membership, but can do some questions for free.
- Math Arcademic Games (https://www.arcademics.com/)- Has some fun games for all grades (Some Grade 5/6 games can apply to Junior High)
Mental Math Games and Activities
- Card games are awesome ways of using Math in different ways. I've included a picture with some examples below, but this can also be done with multiplication/division as well as with negative and positive integers (using the red and black numbers).
