About Ms. MacLeod
I grew up in the South Shore, and graduated from Bridgewater Jr-Sr High School in 2005. I attended Dalhousie University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009, and a Master of Science degree in 2011.
I realized I wanted to be a teacher during my time at Dalhousie, when I began tutoring first year students in their science classes. I attended St. Francis Xavier University and received my Bachelor of Education degree in 2013. My first teaching job was at Hebbville Academy teaching Grade 6 Intensive French. I have also taught Science, Chemistry and Math Resource at Parkview Education Centre for one year and spent five years teaching Middle School Math, Science and French Core at New Ross Consolidated School.
This is my third year at Bayview Community School (was on maternity leave last year) and I'm so excited to see/meet everyone and have a fantastic year teaching Math 7, 8 and 9, as well as Healthy Living 7!
